GB DiscBusters first show of 2008, and it was nice to see some regulars and some new faces. The weather wasn’t ideal, cold and wet on the Saturday, slightly warmer on the Sunday, with even some sunny spells, but still blustery. But as always, this made for an even field as everyone was fighting the breeze! Looks like Owen and D.J. could be the ones to watch this year (our best dog is a lurcher, so we’re not surprised!!), and Mandy, you’re obviously coping well despite the wrist op.! A particular Well Done to Jo for getting placed in both events on the Sunday with both dogs. The new discs were popular, especially the new Hero Supersonic.

We are going to have to be more disciplined in our finish time - we try to please the last minuters who dash over as we close, but that does delay the results, which is annoying for those who cannot wait around, so please check the times with us earlier in the day, if you don’t hear them over the tannoy!

awww my Molly did quite well on the sunday then Very Happy

I could'nt wait for the results, i had to leave as i had a phone call from hubby to say that he was a bit concerned about Bryn, i think he had another kind of stroke although not as bad as the first. He's ok, the vet has had another look at him, we just need to keep an eye on him. Poor boy Sad

Oh, and i phoned Clivertons insurance, they've sorted me out, so thanx for that Very Happy
