I have been training all summer to get more distance on my backhand. The good news is that I accomplished my goal and I can throw at 40yards, the bad news is that I injured my rotator cuff in my throwing shoulder and that was further irritated by a pinched nerve in my neck.

No throwing of any kind for the next several weeks, physiotherapy twice a week and pain. Sad

Sorry to hear that Pat,

hope you make a speedy and full recovery.

Did the doctor believe you when you explained how it happened?

Shaun

thank you both!

Its too funny that you ask Shaun because he had no problem with the frisbee part but was in awe that a dog would catch and retrieve a frisbee! He has a dog but its a companion not a sports dog - clearly! Smile

Hope you're on the mend, Pat. Does it get you out of housework as well? Laughing

Our local hospital doesn't seem to have a sense of humour where dog-related injuries are involved. A couple of years ago Kevin went head first into a jump wing while trying to avoid tripping over Rigsby - had to have metal staples in his head. They just looked distainful when told how the injury was caused. And when I went up there earlier this year after Cookie pulled me over onto a hard plastic crate (at the April EMDAC show) they were quite dismissive -presumably why they didn't bother X-raying, which would have showed that I had actually cracked/displaced a couple of ribs, so their one weeks worth of medium strong painkillers and the advice to keep moving/stretching wasn't very helpful Confused It sounds like you have a good doctor - he listens, and is a dog lover Smile
